Welcome to the enchanting world of Tajukangas, where little climbers can safely explore the wonders of ice climbing under the watchful eye of experienced guides. This unforgettable activity is specially designed for young adventurers – no need for ice axes or heavy crampons, just a sense of curiosity and a love for ice exploration!
Only a scenic 10-minute walk from Hotel Pyhätunturi, the Tajukangas ice wall is a hidden gem easily reached by foot. On the way, keep an eye out for strange footprints in the snow… could they belong to the mysterious Tajukangas jet, a creature of local legend?
Your magical journey begins at CAMP Kitchen & Bar, where a friendly guide will greet you with a warm smile. From there, it’s just a short walk to the nearby ice climbing base, where young climbers are equipped with everything they need for a fun and safe adventure. Special climbing shoes aren’t required for kids’ routes – the focus is on comfort, ease, and excitement.
We have has created a special children’s route with plenty of natural grips for tiny hands and feet. It's a gentle, non-technical climb that introduces kids to the thrill of scaling ice in a completely safe environment. A certified instructor will be there every step of the way, making sure each little climber is securely harnessed and rocking a cool helmet (which makes them feel like real mountaineers!).
While climbing, kids will hear thrilling tales of Tajukangas – stories filled with icy legends and mysterious snow-dwelling creatures. Between climbs, everyone can warm up with delicious hot berry juice, served on site. To mark the adventure, every child will receive a special diploma to commemorate their icy triumph!

To order, follow these steps:

2. Select the number of participants and a suitable date on the product page.
3. Press the "checkout" button
4. Fill in your contact information
5. Go to the next page by pressing "continue"
6. Select a pickup location (if pickup is available) and fill in additional information.
7. Go to the next page by pressing "continue"
